The Asia Darts Association¡¯s traditional tournament The ADA
International Darts Tour has reached its 12th year and
continues to break its previous records. ¡°Passion For Darts¡± is the
slogan for The 12th ADA International Darts Tour, due our
tournament has grown so much. It also gives us energy to keep on
creating a bigger competition platform for all the dart players from
around the world.
Asia Darts Association is not glad to see so many long-term faithful
friends and reuniting with them, but also would like to welcome some new
participants from Australia, Brunei and United Kingdom. Throughout the 3
day tournament, the players from the new participants showed no
weaknesses and took home a few big grand prizes.
The newcomers United Kingdom, took home the International Team
Challenge title against Japan and also Maria Louise O'Brien also from
the United Kingdom won the new event Super One Female against the Hong
Kong representative Sun Wai Ting. They fought until the last decider leg
in a breathtaking style, Maria managed to pull away at the beginning but
was then quickly chased up by Sun. At last, Sun had a chance to finish
but failed and Maria then made no mistakes, taking the title under a
huge pressure. As for the Super One Mens, Pat Orreal from Australia won
against Jos¨¦ Marqu¨ºs from Portugal 3-0. It sounded easy, but Jos¨¦ gave
Pat a tough battle, but just couldn¡¯t take his chances to finish while
Pat did.
During the tournament, many great matches have been played and
many of them have been recorded. We have started to release them to the
public once edited. Please keep an eye on our Facebook https://www.facebook.com/Asiadarts and
https://www.youtube.com/asiadarts for more competitive match videos.
After the 3 days marathon tournament, we had a traditional dinner
party with all the players, operators and sponsors. A Chinese style
banquet dinner was served with unlimited supply of beer, wine, lucky
draws and fun games. As for the MVP presentation, the Asian player both
for female and male that has earned the most points depending on their
placements through different events was also presented. The female MVP
is AngelynValmadrid from Philippines, for the men, it was Benedicto V.
Ybanez also from Philippines.
Last but not least, we would like to thank all of our players,
organizers and leaders that brought teams and players for making this
traditional tournament possible. Also, an enormous thank you to all of
our sponsor parties. This year¡¯s sponsor parties had a significant
increase, it¡¯s encouraging and signify ADA¡¯s recognition in darts
market. While the tournament itself is getting bigger and bigger each
year, we do not plan to stop growing. We look forward to see you all
again next year in The 13th ADA International Darts Tour!
